e3 Partners, the group that Josh and I are going with on this trip puts out a guidebook for folks who are going on a trip with them. I think that the most repeated them throughout the book is the need for flexibility on a cross-cultural trip. I certainly agree that it is very important to any exposure to another culture.

From my past trips to Haiti and to Honduras - there are huge differences in how cultures view time, food, personal space, and many other things. Flexibility will be very important.

Please pray that Josh and I will focus on being flexible with schedules, food, and every aspect of this trip. Pray that we will not become flustered when things do not go as we expect. Pray for patience on our part.
