My friend Peggy has recently received an award for her poetry. You can read about the award, and read her award-winning poem at her blog: Patchwork Quilt.

Prior to posting about her award, she had taken a long absence from posting. I hope that this will encourage her to make time to start writing again.

I have been away from blogging for over a year. I have some new ideas in the works that might be worth blogging about. It is time to get back to it. I have created this new domain, and will eventually try to bring the posts from the old blogger blog.

So, I haven’t had time to post any entries on either blog for over a week. Nobody noticed. Nobody commented. The story of my blog. I am glad that I only do this for me, but the occasional comment would be nice.

Life has been incredibly busy. First, I had to recover from appendicitis. Then, I had to get caught up at work. On top of that, my wife and kids still want me to spend time with them.

To add to the fun, I am now coaching my son’s basketball team. And life is still busy with the church plant. So, now in the Christmas season, it seems I just don’t have time to blog.
